Recognising the environmental impact of polystyrene bean bag fillings, we searched far and wide for an eco-friendly alternative that wouldn’t compromise the quality and comfort of our bean bags. BioFoam® is the perfect solution and we’re the only bean bag company using this plant-based alternative.
We’re working hard to make sure all our products have minimal impact on the environment. We use threads manufactured from recycled plastic bottles, and all the materials we use in our bean bags, stools and cushions can be repurposed or recycled.

REUSE
If you’ve damaged the exterior fabric of your product, send it back to us and we can repurpose the material in cloths and wipes and supply you with a new outer cover at a discounted price.

RECYCLE
Our filling can be recycled by using a HOTbin Composter or can be industrially composted at high temperatures.

COMPOSTABLE FILLING
Our Biofoam filling is made from a biopolymer made from plants. It’s at the heart of what makes our products kinder to the environment.
100% COTTON WEAVE
High quality, cotton weave fabric, in various colours. It’s soft and safe against your skin. Most other companies use a polyester based material.
HAND-MADE IN EUROPE
From the delicate cotton piped edge to the contrast top-stitching, our Bean Chairs are made to exceptional quality, all in the U.K.
HARD WEARING
Our 100% cotton outer bag is durable and hard wearing. Our fabrics have been tested to over 26,000 rubs.
LIGHT & PORTABLE
With our largest product measuring 90cm high x 85cm diameter, it’s under 5kg in weight, and can be moved around your house with ease.
WASHABLE
The outer covering can have small stains wet sponged out, but for bigger stains the covering can be completely removed and washed at 30 degrees.
RECYCLED THREAD
We use thread that’s made from recycled plastic bottles. It gives us the same strength as polyester thread, but helps the planet out a little bit.
SAFETY FEATURES
Our two lockable safety zips, prevents a child’s access to the harmless alternative filling but allows you to remove the outer cover for cleaning.
